Plan Review

For residential projects, plan and specification review typically includes the following primary criteria:

• code compliance

• architectural design

• structural design

• energy and sustainability

Code review covers applicable local, state or national requirements, which could include such regulations as:

• International Residential Code (IRC)

• International Building Code (IBC)

• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

• local zoning and development ordinances

Supplemental regulatory requirements may include preparation of a REScheck or COMcheck report for compliance with applicable Energy Code.
